All available subclasses for Pyromancer in Backpack Battles

Due to the massive random effects at play in Backpack Battles rather than there being a best subclass, there is a range to pick from depending on how your gear collection has rounded out when they become available (usually around Battle 6).

What is the best Ranger subclass in Backpack Battles?

Your Backpack Battles playstyle and luck to this point in the run-through will play heavily on your decision of which Ranger subclass to take when the opportunity presents itself. Here are the scenarios you’re likely to find yourself in as a Ranger and the subclasses I’d choose in each of them.

  •  If you’ve got a solid but unremarkable Ranger and are looking for direction, Grove Keeper is a great pick. The guarantee of Lucky Clovers opens up some good crafting opportunities, the Luck buff is great, and better chances in the store bodes well for an extended run.
  • It’s relatively easy to go down the spikes/Poison route which makes Pathfinder a regular favorite of mine. However, I’d avoid this if you’re already low on Hearts as it is relatively easy to counter, meaning you’ll likely win bouts easily but flame out in a few as well.
  • If you have a strong attack built up and a small amount of mana generation, Lifebinder can make you unstoppable. As long as you’re putting out enough damage already, the healing and cleansing on offer here will get you over the line in a lot of battles.
