For a game as massive as Baldur's Gate 3, it isn't that surprising the smallest, most annoying bugs slip through the QA cracks, such as the Slack Skinned Head bug. So how do you fix this bug? It's actually very easy to, and I'll spell it out quickly so you can get back to the adventure. Here's how to fix the Slack Skinned Head bug in BG3.

How to fix Slack Skinned Head Bug in BG3
Upon inserting the brain into the Slack Skinned Head, you end up stuck in place, unable to speak with the Head, and are forced to reload load a previous save. Annoying, right? Well, it seems the bug is a problem mostly specific to playing BG3 in Vulkan (I say mostly because a member of my party had issues speaking to the Head despite me being on DirectX 11).
The fix for this annoying bug I've found to consistently work is simply to switch to DirectX 11 if you're playing with Vulkan, and switch to Vulkan if you're playing in DirectX 11. You'd like to think a simple restart of the game is the actual solution in this case, but I had this problem several times while in the Necrotic Laboratory, and restarts did not fix the issue for me, so it's not guaranteed to work. Still, hopefully, the fixes I've suggested have helped you here today.
