Best AC-42 Loadout in Battlefield 2042

AC-42 is arguably the most accurate Assault Rifle in Battlefield 2042. Although it is a burst fire weapon, the gun dominates in close to medium-range engagements thanks to its high fire rate. Here's a guide on what attachments you should use for the best AC-42 loadout.

• Sight - K8 Holo
• Ammunition - Standard Issue / Extended Mag
• Underbarrel - BCG Light Grip
• Barrel - Warhawk Compensator

First off, we equip K8 Holo, one of the cleanest close-range optics available in the game. For ammo, we use the Extended Mag that allows you to take more shots without interruption. If you think 30 bullets are sufficient for you, stick to the Standard Issue ammunition, as it doesn't hurt the reload speed.

The BCG underbarrel maintains your accuracy while strafing. It does hurt your accuracy while static, so keep that in mind as well. The final attachment is the Warhawk Compensator barrel that helps with vertical recoil control. This keeps the bullets spread tighter and more precise.

You can modify this build for long-range viability. However, the bullets in each burst spread quite a lot when shooting targets at a distance. As mentioned earlier, this gun works best in close to mid-range fights.

There is a delay between each burst, which makes the AC-42 require considerable skill to operate when compared to the full-auto ARs. Nonetheless, the two-burst kill potential makes it a powerful weapon choice for any player.
