Best Operators in Battlefield 2042

There are numerous operators to choose from in Battlefield 2042. Although picking the right one is subjective and varies with the combat situation, some Specialists are just better than the others in most cases.

Here's our recommendation for the best operator to use in Battlefield 2042. To keep things even, we have included one Specialist from each of the four classes—Assault, Support, Recon, and Engineer.

1. Sundance

Emma "Sundance" Rosier is an Assault class Specialist and our first pick. Their wingsuit trait/ability is something that makes a real difference. This allows you to move faster and further than any other operator in Battlefield 2042. Furthermore, their Grenade Belt gadget provides a great deal of defense against infantry and vehicles.

2. Angel

Once you equip him, you will understand Constantin "Angel" Anghel's true potential. This Support class Specialist never lets his teammates run out of ammo or armor and can even summon a loadout drop mid-game. Furthermore, he can quickly revive downed squad members with restored armor plates.

3. Irish

Next up is the Engineer class Specialist, Kimble "Irish" Graves. Since he is equipped with more armor, enemies require extra shots to put him down. His Fortification System gadget allows him to place a couple of shields and trophy systems that deflect bullets and explosive projectiles.

4. Paik

Ji-Soo Paik is the final operator on our list and is associated with the Recon class Specialists. Her gadget/ability lets her see enemy players through walls for a limited duration and marks anyone who shoots at her. However, you may prefer Navin Rao over Paik due to the former's potent hacking abilities.
