Best PBX-45 Loadout in Battlefield 2042

The PBX-45 is the first SMG available for use in Battlefield 2042. The weapon has good handling and a fast fire rate, which are desirable for a close-range gun. This guide features our recommendations for two PBX-45 loadouts based on different usage scenarios.

Best PBX-45 Loadout Battlefield 2042

The following PBX-45 loadout excels in close-range battles:

• Sight - Fusion Holo
• Ammunition - Close Combat
• Underbarrel - BCG Light Grip or LS-1 Laser Sight
• Barrel - 6KU Suppressor

For starters, equip any low-zoom scope, such as Fusion Holo or even Iron Sights. Close Combat magazine helps with recoil, reload speed, and fire rate, all of which are crucial in close-quarters combat. However, it will affect the range of the SMG.

Equip the BCG Grip for accuracy while moving or the LS-1 Laser for better hipfire accuracy. For the barrel attachment, we recommend using the 6KU Suppressor. It reduces your effective range, but it keeps you from showing up on the minimap, which is a big perk.

You can use the following PBX45 loadout for better performance up to mid-range and improved accuracy:

• Sight - TV 2x
• Ammunition - High-Power or Standard Issue / Extended Mag
• Underbarrel - LWG Grip
• Barrel - Warhawk Compensator

The Fusion Holo sight is also fine, but you can use TV 2x for some extra magnification. You can choose from the given two ammunition options depending on what features you want. Use the High-Power mag for a boost in range at the cost of control, reload speed, and fire rate.

On the contrary, equip the Extended Mag for increased ammo capacity at the cost of slower reload speed. The LWG Grip improves accuracy when you are shooting while stationary. Finally, using the Warhawk Compensator helps you easily control the recoil at distances.
