There are three fire modes available for weapons in Battlefield 2042. Most weapons feature two, while Sniper Rifles have only one, single-fire mode. To identify fire mode without shooting the weapon, simply look at the crosshair:

  • Full-Auto Mode: Normal crosshair with four vertical lines around the center dot.
  • Burst-Fire Mode: Small lines between the four vertical lines and the center dot.
  • Single-Fire Mode: Crosshair will only have three vertical lines around the center dot. The top line doesn't appear.
