How to enter Downpour in Binding of Isaac Repentance

To unlock downpour in Binding of Issac, you will need to fist beat hush in the Blue Womb three times. After this, you will then need to complete either basement one or the cellar one or two. After this, a door will open up, and through it you will find a small hatch, However, in order to open the hatch, you will need a key. You can get keys from various places such as chests, bosses, fireplaces, and even as a drop when you complete a room. You may also have a key now if you completed the room before the one with the hatch - if so simply use it on the hatch, and you will unlock downpour.

From there on, you must prepare yourself for a huge water level filled with Deep Gapers, leaches, and the occasional wraith. Along with this, downpour contains the following bosses below.

  • Wormwood
  • The Rainmaker
  • The Haunt
  • Beelzeblub

As a side note, when exploring downpour, make sure to keep an eye out for a dead-end-like room. If you find a room like this, we highly recommend bombing the middle of the room. Doing so will reveal a stone chest that will contain a knife piece - you will need these knife pieces later down the line to open an area called corpse.
