BitLife Ghostbusters Challenge Guide – How-to Become an Exorcist!

It's time to take a look at how-to complete the BitLife Ghostbusters Challenge! You will need to become an Exorcist and get rid of some ghosts to complete it. It's not too difficult of a challenge, but we've got some tips if you are having any trouble completing it.

This challenge is back for a second go around in October 2020, so if you've already completed it, you won't be able to do it again!

Let's take a quick look at the rules for this challenge:

• Live in or emigrate to the USA
• Become an exorcist
• Perform 10 exorcisms in your own haunted houses

So, start your character in United States and we'll go from there!

You really don't need to focus on too much when you grow up your character. We really just want to get out of high school, so go ahead and just make your way through your life. I'd keep an eye on your Smarts and try to keep it relatively high. You can do this by studying harder in school, reading books, and going to the library. Just do your general Bitizen building to finish high school.

Now that you've finished high school, you can go about this a couple of different ways. You can go to college and get a degree in something like Biology, Mathematics, or Information Systems. Basically, anything that will lead you to a career that can make some money. You don't have to do this, but you will need to purchase some houses and the money gives you more versatility.

How-to Become an Exorcist

If you don't want to bother with an alternative career or you've got a nest egg ready then you can now become an Exorcist. There's really nothing to it, you just need to check the jobs every year and look for the Exorcist option. It's a low level position, so you don't need any prior training for it.

How-to Complete the Challenge

Once you've managed to become an Exorcist, you will want to start looking for haunted houses to buy. These can be found under Assets and then Real Estate Brokers. You can find them for various prices, and it doesn't really matter which you buy. The ones you want will literally be labeled as "haunted" by the game, so you don't have to guess if it's haunted or not. Once you go to purchase one of these, it will show a level of how haunted the place is. You want the highest amount of hauntedness because the more haunted it is, the more ghosts it will have in it! You can pretty much complete the entire challenge in one house if you get lucky. However, it's more likely you'll need to purchase a house or two to get rid of enough ghosts to complete the challenge.

Since you are an Exorcist, you just need to go to one of your haunted houses and look for the Spirits option. You can then select one of the Ghosts and then Exorcise it.

It's random if you successfully exorcise it or not, but if you fail you can just try again. You can exorcise as many ghosts as you want in a single year. You do have to be somewhat careful though because they can lash out at you and you can lose some happiness level. Once you've cleansed the house of ghosts, you can sell it for quite a bit more then what you bought it for and purchase the next one. It doesn't matter if you get a mortgage or buy it out right. Keep buying and selling until you exorcise 10 ghosts and complete the challenge!
