Brawlhalla is a great free-to-play game created by Blue Mammoth Games and published by Xaviant. It is a 2D fighting game that looks like an old-school platformer. There are a lot of licensed characters from various pop culture media like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
How to Add Friends in Brawlhalla
Adding Players at the Same Platform
The first way to add a player to your friend's list is just right-clicking on the player's name after a fight and sending them a friend invite. It works specifically on Steam.
On other platforms like PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, or Xbox you just need to invite your friends into your friends' list via the method that is appropriate to the specific platform.
If you want to invite your friend to a match, then you will need to scroll down to that friend on the list on the left side of the screen. Then simply invite them from your friends list. You can also join a clan together and then it is even easier.
Adding Players on Different Platforms
Brawlhalla introduces complete cross-platform support between most of the consoles (excluding PS4). If you play on PC, you can play with your friends on Xbox, Nintendo Switch, or even mobile platforms.
Adding friends that way is tricky. However, there is a way to easily play with your friends from other platforms via Custom Game Rooms. One player will create a custom game, and others will be able to join. You can make the room private, so only your friends will be able to join. Then you just have to share your code (#123456, for example) using online communication software like Discord.
