While exploring the Urzikstan map in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies, you'll find different types of superior enemies as Special and Elite threats. In this guide, I've described all the Zombie bosses and how to defeat them in MWZ.
While the basic attack maneuvers and weaknesses of these undead creatures remain the same, their HP, power, and speed increase as you enter higher Threat Zones. To defeat them, you'll need higher rarity and Pack-a-Punched weapons inside Tier 2 and 3 areas of the map. And of course, going for critical hits via headshots is almost always the move in MW3 Zombies.
How to defeat all Special and Elite Zombie bosses in MWZ
Elite Zombies are nothing but Special Zombies that have been marked as a Big Bounty target for an Eliminate The Bounty contract. These are marked with a horned skull icon, while the Special ones have a regular skull indicator. Below you'll find different bosses available in MW3 Zombies.
How to defeat the Mimic in MW3 Zombies
Mimics are quick on their feet and can easily chase you down if you aren't fast enough. Keep your distance as these creatures can use their tentacles to pull and then throw you away. They also spit lightning balls to a certain range that can damage you easily. A Mimic's weak spot is its mouth and they hate toxic damage, so use the Brain Rot Ammo Mod on your weapon.
How to defeat the Mangler in MW3 Zombies
Manglers rely on their thick armor and hand cannon, which they use to emit deadly shockwaves. Aim for the head while keeping a safe distance from the Zombie so it doesn't melee attack you with its sword arm. You should use the Napalm Burst Ammo Mod on your gun as a Mangler can't handle fire damage very well.

How to defeat the Disciple in MW3 Zombies
Disciples are floating Special Zombie bosses found in the Medium and High Threat Zones. When this creature senses a threat, it starts transforming nearby regular Zombies by giving them more power. It also heals off of your health, therefore, avoid getting close to it and break contact if affected. Hit the Disciple in the head and use the Dead Wire Ammo Mod as electric damage is this beast's weakness.
How to defeat the Stormcaller in MW3 Zombies
The Stormcaller spawns inside the Aether storm radiation zone every match and it basically is a beefed-up Disciple. It's very difficult to take down, even with Pack-a-Punch level 3 weapons, especially because of its healing powers and high HP. However, if you manage to acquire the rare Blood Burner motorcycle, use the Aether Pulse next to the Stormcaller to instantly kill it.
How to defeat the Mega Abomination in MW3 Zombies
The Mega Abomination appears only inside the High Threat Zone and is susceptible to fire damage, so the Napalm Burst Ammo Mod can work well against it. However, it's the strongest of all MW3 Zombies bosses and very difficult to kill. Make sure you have at least a level 2 Pack-a-Punched weapon before approaching this monster.
Stay out of the Megabomb's deadly laser beam and keep a safe distance to avoid getting hit by its leap attacks. Shoot it in the mouth for critical damage and make use of nearby Deadbolt Turrets if possible. Some good weapons I recommend for this boss fight are the Ray Gun wonder weapon, Crossbow, Akimbo Snakeshot Tyr pistol, and RGL-80 Grenade Launcher.
How to defeat Hellhounds in MW3 Zombies
Although Hellhounds aren't classified as Special Zombie bosses in MWZ, they're still worth including in this list. These dogs can be really annoying, especially in higher tier zones, as you can outrun most enemies but them. The Hellhounds are fast and can easily catch up to you even if you're running with your fists out. That said, they're the easiest to kill, just beware of their blast damage and keep Throwing Knives to instantly eliminate them.
