Perks are an extremely crucial part of your loadout in Call of Duty: Warzone. Good weapon builds can easily be acquired from dead enemy players, but Perks can only be achieved from your loadout class. On rare occasions, you can find the Specialist Bonus ground loot, which grants you all perks at once.
The game features a total of 20 Perks distributed across three Perk slots. This guide on the best perks in Warzone will help you create the best class suitable for your playstyle.
Best Perk 1 in Warzone
- Cold-Blooded: This perk has risen to prominence since Combat Scout Perk 3 was added to the game. It's essentially a counter to High Alert and Combat Scout Perks. Additionally, it also shields you from thermal scopes and recon drone targeting.
- E.O.D.: The second most powerful perk on our list reduces the damage received from explosives and fire. This means improved resistance to damage from equipment like Frag Grenade, Thermite, Semtex, Molotov, Incendiary Rounds ammunition, etc.
- Double Time: Tactical sprint is the most used movement mechanic in the game, as it lets you run faster for a short duration. Double Time perk doubles the duration of the tac sprint. It's not that viable since most players slide cancel, which resets the tac sprint duration timer.
- Quick Fix: Although highly situational, Quick Fix easily becomes the most viable Perk to use in the Rebirth Island and Plunder game modes. As gunfights are frequent in these game modes, getting your health bar reset after each combat is highly beneficial.

Best Perk 2 in Warzone
- Tempered: This perk reduces your armor plate requirement from three to two. While this may seem like a small improvement, it's overpowered in most combat scenarios. With the latest change to how armor plates are added as a whole, Tempered becomes even more powerful.
- High Alert: If you are tired of getting shot in the back, High Alert is for you. The Perk alerts you when an enemy outside of your view is looking at you. Furthermore, you can also hear Dead Silence users. The only reason this Perk sits in the second spot is because it has a counter, i.e. Cold-Blooded.
- Ghost: This Perk hides you from UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors. However, it doesn't work against an Advanced UAV. You can easily reposition and flank the enemy without getting detected.
- Restock: As the name implies, you can refill your equipment every 50 seconds using Restock. This is the Perk for those who like to use their tactical and lethal equipment all the time. It's a perfect Perk for aggressive and defensive players alike.
Unsurprisingly, Overkill is the most used Perk 2, as it lets you equip two weapons in your class (for instance, a long-range Assault Rifle with a close-quarters Submachine Gun). Nonetheless, it's not as powerful as the perks mentioned above, and you can always pick up a solid ground-loot gun.
Additionally, the Pointman Perk boosts your XP by giving you extra contract bonus level. Make sure to equip this Perk while leveling up your weapons.
Best Perk 3 in Warzone
- Combat Scout: Used by a majority of players these days, Combat Scout briefly highlights the enemy even through obstacles. Furthermore, it also pings the enemy for you and your team. It can be countered by Cold-Blooded Perk 1.
- Amped: It's still a great option but lost its best Perk 3 status after Combat Scout was introduced. Amped allows you to switch weapons and reload Launchers faster. It's the best Perk for those using a heavy weapon.
The Perk 3 slot options aren't highly competitive. Another decent Perk that you may use is Tracker, which allows you to see enemy footprint markers. This comes in handy mainly in close-range combat situations.
