Best SMG in Warzone 2 Season 1

Meta SMG loadouts.

While Assault Rifles are preferred for longer ranges, Submachine Guns dominate close-quarters combat in Call of Duty: Warzone 2. These weapons feature fast mobility and have the best time-to-kill (TTK) potential at close-range. Here's a guide listing the current best SMG loadouts in the game.

Best Submachine Guns in Warzone 2 Season 1

  • Lachmann Sub / MP5: The most consistent close-range weapon in the game.
  • Fennec 45: Has a faster TTK than MP5, but runs out of ammo extremely fast.
  • Vaznev-9k: Another top-tier SMG with very low recoil and fast mobility.
  • Minibak: Great choice if you want a big magazine and a competitive TTK.

The weapon builds that you're about to see prioritize mobility, handling, and accuracy. If you like to hipfire your SMGs, swap the laser we've recommended for those improving hipfire accuracy. For instance, the FTAC Grimline and Point-G3P 04 laser sights tighten the bullet spread and provide better control while firing from the hip.
