CoD Vanguard Free Access Week – start date, game modes, & more

Call of Duty: Vanguard, the most recent title in the popular first-person shooter franchise, has been out for over several months now. Just like any other Call of Duty game, the developers have pushed out numerous free access periods for Vanguard to attract new players. Here's everything you need to know about the recent free access week in Vanguard.

How to play Call of Duty: Vanguard in free access

Anyone can download Call of Duty: Vanguard during the free access period on all available platforms—PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. While the free access week only lasts for a limited time, it's a good opportunity for players who don't own the game to level up any new weapons and experience the game's Multiplayer and Zombies modes.

CoD Vanguard free access start and end dates

The current Vanguard free access begins July 20 at 10am PT and ends on July 26 at 8am PT. It lasts for about one week after which interested players may purchase the game if they have fun.

All game modes and maps are available during the free access

The complete Vanguard Multiplayer and Zombies playlists are playable, including the new maps and modes released in Season 3. The major highlight of this free access period is the Shi No Numa map, a round-based game mode which was recently added to Vanguard Zombies.
