According to Infinity Ward, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is aiming for a Fall 2022 release. Warzone 2 is expected to release alongside it, the same way Modern Warfare (2019) and Warzone launched. However, Warzone 2 will not be integrated with Warzone or the previous Call of Duty titles, so it will be a fresh slate of content on a new engine.
