  • Find and read the Sniper Team's Note.
  • Take the 3 Trackers from the Al Bagra Fortress Dead Drop.
  • Plant the 3 Trackers, one at each bunker entrance.

Where to find the Sniper Team's Note in DMZ

The first step in the mission is to find the Sniper Team's Note that can be found in Al Mazrah City Tower situated in the northeastern part of the map. Ascend up the zipline shown in the second picture and approach the metal stairs in the left section of the balcony. You'll find the Sniper Team Note and a custom TAQ-56 AR placed under the stairs. The note has information on the whereabouts of the three bunker entrances you need to visit.

Trackers Location - Al Bagra Fortress Dead Drop

For the next step, you need to pick up 3 trackers from the Al Bagra Fortress Dead Drop situated in the southern part of the map. If you spawn near this region of Al Mazrah, it's best to pick up the tracking devices from the dumpster first rather than traveling all the way back for them later on. Once you have the trackers, you need to plant them at the three bunker entrances discussed below.

First Bunker Entrance Location - Underground parking garage

One of the bunkers is situated inside the parking garage right next to the tower where you found the Sniper Team Note in Al Mazrah City. Enter the underground parking from the entrance shown in the second picture. Turn right and after walking a few meters you'll see metal doors as shown in the third image. Go through the door, open the next doors, and then go down the stairs. There you'll find a wall with orange paint marks. This is the bunker entrance where you'll get the prompt to plant tracker.

Second Bunker Entrance - Under the bridge between Taraq Village and AM City

Now, head further north from your position to Taraq Village and stop by the bridge next to the gas station. Jump down the road from the point marked in the second image and you'll see an opening directly underneath the bridge structure. Inside the area, you'll find the bunker entrance which'll be a similar wall with markings as the one you found earlier.

Third Bunker Entrance - Under the railroads in the oilfields

Finally, head over to the Rohan Oil POI and enter the Rohan Oil Access Tunnels. This is a denied zone where you'll find some armored enemies, therefore, proceed carefully. In the mid-section of the underpass, there will be a half-open roller shutter (see third image). Crawl under the opening into the room and plant the third and final tracker onto the bunker entrance.

The tracker planting indicator at the Rohan Oil bunker entrance is buggy. Hence you may have to move around a bit and even slightly away from the wall to find the sweet spot to get the prompt. Completing the Excavation Tier 3 Redacted mission will unlock the next tier missions once they're available. Furthermore, you'll get the Shadow Warrior operator skin for Zimo as a reward.
