How to complete Sacrifice objective in Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies

Stop the horde.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 2 adds a brand-new objective to the Zombies game mode. Although Sacrifice is not a traditional, round-based challenge, it's certainly fun to play and challenging. Here's how to play the new mode in Terra Maldicta and Der Anfang regions of Vanguard Zombies.

After activating the Sacrifice objective portal, you can be taken to one of several different arenas. There you'll find structures known as Syphoncores, which are made of severed zombie heads. Your mission here is to stop these structures from sucking the essence out of sacrificial zombies.

The sacrificial zombies are harmless and can be identified by a bright red aura surrounding their bodies. Nonetheless, normal and special zombies also spawn during the objective, from which you have to defend yourself.

Until the timer ends, the defending objective rotates among the four Syphoncores. Each structure can absorb up to five zombie souls. Once this threshold is reached, the defending objective moves to the next one. If you manage to hold the final and fourth Syphoncore before the time limit, you'll successfully complete the objective.
