How to fix Long Distance DMZ Mission bugged

DMZ Long Distance mission walkthrough.

In Call of Duty: Warzone DMZ, the Tier 2 Phalanx story mission called Long Distance is reportedly not working for some players. The mission may be bugged, or you may have missed an important step while attempting it. Below I've detailed the entire process for the mission so that you don't miss a step.

But before we discuss how to complete the entire mission, let's figure out how to complete the second task of it first (UAV Towers), which appears to be not working for some players. To avoid any trouble in this part, make sure of the following:

  • Keep the GPS Triangulator in your backpack.
  • Use three different UAV Towers. Using the same UAV Tower three times doesn't count.

If the mission is still bugged, drop the GPS Triangulator, pick it back up, and try activating three new UAV Towers. After using three UAV Towers while carrying the tracker, the second task in the Long Distance mission should be completed. If you check your backpack now, the tracker should say Loaded GPS Triangulator. Extract the loaded tracker from the map for the final step.

Where to take the tracker from

For the first task, you need to deploy into DMZ's Vondel map and head to the Zoo POI in the southwestern part of the map. At the location shown in the first image, you'll find a dead drop right outside the building. Open the dumpster and stow the GPS Triangulator in your backpack.

This will complete the first part of the mission, but you have to exfil with the tracker for the next step. After extracting the GPS Triangulator from Vondel, you now have to deploy it into the Al Mazrah map while keeping the tracker in your backpack. Now activate three UAV Towers and extract.

Finally, head back to Vondel and deliver the Loaded GPS Triangulator to the Vondel Zoo dead drop, the same place where you initially picked it up from. I suggest you be extremely careful, as if you die before delivering the loaded tracker, you'll have to attempt the mission all over again. I used a Secure Backpack so that I don't lose the item even if I was killed by enemy players.
