Camo challenges in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 aren't described well sometimes, which can make them confusing for some players. Here's how you can get 10 kills while focused down sights x times to unlock the Gilded camo for sniper rifles.

How to get kills while focused down sights x times in MW3

Ignore the "x times" part mentioned in the gold camo challenge and simply go for 10 kills while focused down sights. When you scope in or aim-down-sights (ADS) with your sniper, a prompt to focus will appear, as seen in the image above. Hold down the indicated button and your weapon will become stable for a short while as your operator holds their breath.

What does focusing do in MW3?

Focusing improves your accuracy while shooting so that your bullet hits exactly where your aim is. When you're not holding your breath, the aim sway can be tremendous. You can only stay focused down sights for a few seconds at a time until your operator needs to breathe. The focus prompt will appear again after a short cooldown period.

You can complete this challenge in any multiplayer mode, but I prefer War Mode and Ground War, as they're played on slightly bigger maps that are moer ideal for long-range sniping. Aim your sniper and get 10 kills while pressing down the focus input (Shift on keyboard and Left-stick on controller).

You can build the weapon with attachments that increase stats like ADS speed and aim stability to get the gold camo with ease. Moreover, I suggest the Marksman Gloves perk for reduced sway and flinch while aiming.
