To answer the burning question, you can obtain the Mags of Holding Schematic by finishing the Contracts in the Dark Aether Rift(New Version).
Enter the Dark Aether Rift with an Elder Sigil, and there will be plenty of contracts and quests to participate in. Take up these challenges, which range from defeating some bosses to shipping some cargo. Perform these tasks, and you may receive the Mags of Holding as a drop reward. Exit with the item successfully to obtain the Schematic.

How to enter the Dark Aether Rift in MW3 Season 2
To enter the new Dark Aether Rift, you must get multiple items to enter the rift.
- Drum
- Pristine Mirror
- Tattered MMA Gloves
- Perforated Target
All of these missions are available in the Act IV- Countermeasure event. So, activate the challenge and complete the quest to obtain all four rewards.
Place these rewards on the Pedestal of the Dark Aether Rift island to open the Dark Aether Rift. Defeat the spawned boss, and you will get access to the portal permanently. Still, you will require Sigils or Elder Sigils to enter the Dark Aether portal. Also, if you want to collect the newly added Schematics like the Mags of Schematics, you must use an Elder Sigil instead of a normal one.
