How to investigate the anomaly in MW3 Zombies – Bag Signal Mission

With the Season 1 update, the new Act 4 introduces the Bad Signal mission to Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. This mission directs you to investigate the anomaly and enter the Dark Aether rift, here's how.

Where to investigate the anomaly in MWZ (Map)

To investigate the anomaly, open your tac map and look for the exfil point with a yellow star that says Bad Signal (see image). It's located to the north of Zaravan Suburbs POI on the outskirts of the High Threat Zone. After spawning into Urzikstan, wait for a short while to let the extraction point appear on your map.

At the aforementioned location, you'll find the anomaly required for the Bad Signal mission. Simply approach the sigil and interact with it when the Enter Anomaly prompt appears. If you have teammates, everyone has to accept the invite by opening the tac map to enter the rift.

Unlike the regular exfil points where you call an evac helicopter, the rift directly takes you to the Dark Aether realm situated in the Al Bagra Fortress region from Al Mazrah. There you need to secure four seals and defend yourself from Tier 2 Zombies, regular and special ones. Finally, you'll have to defeat the Aether Worm boss Gorm'gant to leave the area. Therefore, I highly suggest you bring powerful weapons, Pack-a-Punch your guns, and consume some essential perks before entering the anomaly.
