Season 1.5 of Call of Duty: Vanguard added the Void Objective to Zombies. The new objective appears after you unlock Von List's Office located inside the Stalingrad Store. It brings back the traditional round-based survival mode. Here's what the new Void Objective is and how it works.
The game mode always takes place on the Shi No Numa map. Once you portal to the objective, waves of zombies start spawning which you'll have to eliminate to proceed through rounds. The zombies grow stronger after every round of never-ending mode.

After three rounds, you get the option to either portal back to Stalingrad or keep surviving the zombie waves. 5,000 Essence and a Sacrificial Heart are awarded for every three rounds completed in the Void. You can also upgrade your weapons using the Pack-a-Punch machine to increase your chances of survivability.
If you need more resources, flee to Stalingrad to upgrade your abilities and return back to the Void via the same portal inside Von List's Office. Furthermore, if you manage to survive 12 rounds, Perks will not drop below Tier II in case you get downed.
