How to unlock Dark Aether Rift in MW3 Zombies Season 2 Reloaded

Unlocking and entering the Dark Aether Rift requires entirely new items in the current season. So, if you want to know how to unlock the Dark Aether Rift in the MW3 Zombies Season 2 Reloaded, follow the guide until the end.

How to open Dark Aether Rift in MW3 Zombies Season 2 Reloaded

Like last season, you must open the Dark Aether portal by placing four artifact items on the Dark Aether Pedestal. The only major change is that you need new objects. You can find the list of these items below. Remember, these items are available as drop rewards during the Act IV Countermeasures quest. So, equip that event before jumping onto the server. 

• Drum: You will get the Drum at the end of the Countermeasure quest while exiting.
• Upgraded Pristine Mirror: Go to L8, and you will find a thick statue during the Countermeasure quest. Interact with it, and AAT Zombies will spawn. Kill them to get the Pristine Mirror. Take them to the l3 graveyard and offer it to the relic to upgrade it.
• Upgraded Tattered MMA Gloves: You will receive the MMA Gloves item at the Boat location after beating the zombies up by melee combat during the Countermeasure quest. Take the MMA Gloves to the Boxing Gym at the bottom of Zavaran City to get an upgraded version.
• Upgraded Perforated Target: Head to the E4 location inside the stadium and interact with the statue as part of the Countermeasure quest. Kill all the newly spawned zombies, and you will get the Perforated Target at the end. To upgrade it, go to a Firing Range located at Shanin Manor and interact with the purple Target to upgrade it.

After collecting the four items, go to the Dark Aether Rift island and place the prescribed items on the pedestal. A new EMP mimic(boss) will spawn, and you must defeat it. After that, you will gain permanent access to the Dark Aether Rift. Pay Sigils or Elder Sigils as tokens to enter the Dark Aether Rift.
