Lone Hunter DMZ Mission Guide

Lone Hunter is the first mission in Tier 5 of the Black Mous Faction in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 DMZ. This challenge tasks you to deploy solo with no weapon, kill a player, and then extract. It is a stealth-based complex mission, but you can complete it in a few attempts with an effective approach.

• Infil without any teammates and without any weapons.
• Kill 1 operator (real player) in the same deployment.
• Exfil in the same deployment without having picked up any weapons.

First of all, head over to the Weapons section on the main menu screen to edit your loadout. Ensure that you have no weapon equipped in your primary, secondary, and stowed slots. The choice of lethal and tactical equipment is up to you. However, we strongly recommend equipping the Throwing Knife as it allows you to take out enemies stealthily.

For tactical, you can use Stim or Stun Grenade based on your preference. While the Stim will let you regain health in critical situations, Stuns will immobilize the enemy giving you the chance to finish them. Thereafter, disable Squad Fill and deploy into the Ashika Island or Al Mazrah map.

Now comes the difficult part of the Lone Hunter mission. You have to eliminate one enemy player utilizing whatever equipment you have, i.e., your lethal, tactical, and your fists of course. While doing so, you'll also have to survive the bots, which becomes easy if you maintain stealth. Make use of nearby UAV Towers if any nearby to keep a track of enemies. Also, refill your tactical and lethal at ammo caches or by using Munition Boxes. Prefer filling your backpack by stowing these equipment.

Once again, stealth is key here, but with a bit of luck, you may encounter a newbie enemy squad that doesn't have much idea what they're doing. Wait for the right moment and use your Throwing Knife to down an operator. Throw another one to finish them and try to exfil without getting killed in the process. Remember, you strictly cannot pick up any weapon during the entirety of this mission. If you accidentally do, the final mission task will not count and you'll have to retry in another match.
