MW3 Magma camo not unlocking – How to fix

The new Vortex: War's Domain event is currently live in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. The limited-time event offers a variety of unlockable cosmetics, including the Magma camo, which may appear bugged.

How to fix Magma camo not unlocking in MW3

During the event, you need to play the different modes in MW3 and Warzone that will earn you the XP required to unlock the free items. The Magma camo is the final reward unlocked when you acquire 1,233,700 XP, instead of the 458,500 XP target mentioned incorrectly in the game. Until the targets are updated to their actual value, just keep playing and earning XP, as the progress does count.

I was confused at first when the camo didn't unlock, but I soon came across a tweet from Sledgehammer Games, the developers of MW3, who mentioned this is a bug. Below are the correct XP targets the rewards for the Vortex event are supposed to unlock at in MW3:

1. 9,500 XP: The Goat weapon sticker
2. 21,500 XP: 30M Double XP Token
3. 36,900 XP: Through the Smoke large decal
4. 56,350 XP: 45M Double Weapon XP Token
5. 81,100 XP: Ghost Fire charm
6. 112,450 XP: Skull Fire large decal
7. 152,300 XP: Volcanic emblem
8. 202,950 XP: A Little Rusty calling card
9. 267,200 XP: 1H Double Battle Pass XP Token
10. 348,900 XP: Winged Fire weapon sticker
11. 452,550 XP: 1H Double XP Token
12. 584,250 XP: Forged in Flames calling card
13. 751,500 XP: Putrid Skulls weapon sticker
14. 963,950 XP: 1H Double Weapon XP Token
15. 1,233,700 XP: Magma animated weapon camo
