Pet Rescue Mission Guide DMZ

Find Cat Statue and Dog Bank here!

Pet Rescue is a Tier 5 mission for the Redacted faction in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 DMZ. The mission challenges players to find and deliver two unusual and rare items to the Shopkeeper in Koschei Complex. Here's a guide explaining where can you find the special items for the task.

  • Deliver a Cat Statue to the Shopkeeper.
  • Deliver a Dog Bank to the Shopkeeper.
  • Take and extract the Shopkeeper's Intel.

Where to find Cat Statue and Dog Bank in DMZ

For the first two objectives in the Pet Rescue mission, you'll need to visit Ashika Island, as the Cat Statue and Dog Bank only spawn on that map. Both of these items spawn randomly and are equally rare, therefore, you may have to spend a lot of time searching for them.

That said, you only need to look for Cat Statue and Dog Bank inside lockers and duffle bags across the map. These are the only two loot cache where most players, including me, have found these two items. You should prioritize searching areas like Tsuki Castle and Port Ashika, the latter of which has a series of Strongholds that you can unlock.

Once you find one of each item, extract them from the map for the next objective. In case you acquire only one item, let's say the Cat Statue, you can still extract and then stow it in your mission items stash (see fourth image) until you've found the other item.

How to deliver the Cat Statue and Dog Bank to the Shopkeeper

Once you have a Dog Bank and Cat Statue, make sure they're equipped in your backpack and deploy into Al Mazrah. From here, you need to enter the Koschei Complex and make your way to the Shopkeeper in the Factory Admin section. I'd also suggest you go in with a Secure Backpack so that these rare items aren't lost in case you get eliminated.

Between the two Buy Stations, you'll notice a Dead Drop (see first image). Open the box and drop the Dog Bank and Cat Statue you brought over from Ashika Island. Once you close the Dead Drop after delivering the items, the Crown Instructions will drop on the ground. This is the Shopkeeper's Intel that you need to extract via any nearby exfil elevator to complete the Pet Rescue mission.
