Reconnaissance By Fire DMZ Mission Guide

Reconnaissance By Fire is a Tier 2 Redacted faction mission in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 DMZ. This mission tasks players to get AI kills using the Kastov 762 Assault Rifle with three different optics attached in a single match. This is possible thanks to the workbench feature that allows weapon attachment customization on the go.

Reconnaissance By Fire Mission DMZ

• Kill 7 cartel or AQ Soldiers with a Kastov 762 with a DF105 Reflex Sight equipped.
• Kill 7 cartel or AQ Soldiers with a Kastov 762 with a VLK 4.0 Optic equipped in the same deployment.
• Kill 7 cartel or AQ Soldiers with a Kastov 762 with a DrexSom Prime-90 equipped in the same deployment.

To keep things simple, Cartel and AQ Soldiers spawn all across the Al Mazrah map, hence this is where you should be deploying to attempt the Reconnaissance By Fire fire. Firstly, equip the Kastov 762 Assault Rifle in your loadout as an insured weapon before deploying. Go to the Gunsmith for the weapon and attach the DF105 Reflex Sight for the Optic. You can add the remaining attachments as per your preference.

After deploying into Al Mazrah, kill any 7 bots using this weapon, and the first task for the Recon By Fire mission will be checked off. Now, collect $3000 cash and head to the nearest Buy Station on the map. Interact with the Workbench next to the shop and select the Kastov 762 weapon. Under the Optic category, scroll over to the VLK 4.0 Optic and buy it. Get 7 bot kills with this sight and once again use the Workbench to equip the DrexSom Prime-90 attachment for $3000. Finally, eliminate 7 more AI using the custom weapon and the third part of the mission will be over.
