Where are the Smuggling Tunnels in DMZ?

The Smuggling Tunnels are a permanent Stronghold location on the Al Mazrah map in DMZ. It's part of the map changes introduced with the Season 2 update. The cave network is situated north of Zarqwa Hydroelectric by the medical camps and the train tracks. There are five entrances to the Smuggling Tunnels, all of which have been marked on the map above. You simply need to visit this POI for your first task, but you'll need to bring a Stronghold Key, which you can get at Buy Stations or by killing AI soldiers.

After you open one of the stronghold doors to the Smuggling Tunnels, take out the bots that may shoot at you. Now, equip your Tactical Camera field upgrade, aim, and throw it down inside the tunnel as shown in the image above. Make sure that the progress towards your mission counts and then move towards any of the next four entrances. You can either move around from the outside or clear out the cave network from the inside.

Placing the Tactical Camera is an easy task, but finding one of these equipment in DMZ can be painful as their spawn rate seems to be very low. That said, you can simply equip the Tactical Camera as your field upgrade in your loadout before queuing for a game. If you and one of your teammate does this, you'll have two of these items once you spawn into the map.

However, for solo DMZ players, this mission can be difficult as they can bring one Tactical Camera, but finding the other as loot may be next to impossible. Fortunately, there's a glitch going on in the game using which you can get an additional equipment for free. After you place your Tactical Camera at one of the tunnel entrances, move away from it and open your backpack. Even if you see no field upgrade in your inventory, press the drop button over it and a Tactical Camera will drop on the ground. Pick it up, go to the next entrance, and plant the second camera to complete the Smuggling Tunnels mission in DMZ, while playing solo.
