What's a Contract?

A contract in Warzone is basically a mini-quest that you can complete for loot. Each contract type requires you to finish a specific objective and will then give you a reward. These contracts spawn randomly each game, and can be found on your map by a unique icon to the particular contract!

Contract Types

There's three different contact types: bounty, recon, and scavenger. Here's a look at what they reward and how-to complete them:

Bounty Contracts

A bounty contract is pretty much how it sounds, you will have a few minutes to hunt down a specific player from another enemy squad. If you're looking to fight, then it's a great contract to grab because it will place the general location of the enemy you are needing to take out! This is extremely vital information, and is pretty rare when it comes to battle royale games. If the player you need to eliminate moves, the map will display the change so you always have an idea of where they are until the bounty timer is up.

If a player has a bounty on them then their whole squad will be given this information. They will have the "Hunted!" tag put on them, and if they can survive for a few minutes while this is enabled they will be given a reward!

If you can take out the enemy via this contract you will be rewarded with cash and experience.

Recon Contracts

Once you acquire a recon contract, there will be an objective marker placed on your map and your team will need to stand within an area for a certain amount of time to obtain the data required to complete it. This is the riskiest contract, because once a member of your team enters the objective area a flare will be shot up into the air giving away your location!

There's an additional benefit to completing this contract in particular. Not only do you get loot and cash, but you will also learn the location of the next safe area circle which gives you important information on where you need to go next!

Only one person is required to sit in the area, however, if you have more members of your team in it then the time require to be in the location will be sped up.

Scavenger Contracts

The scavenger contracts will point you to a special Resupply Crates on your map. Once you go to that location and open it up, another Supply Box will show up on your map. You can find three chests in total, if you collect all three you have a higher chance for rare loot like legendary weapons, field upgrades, and self-revive kits! If you complete the contract you will be rewarded with xp and cash. This is the easiest of contracts to complete, because it doesn't put you at risk and you don't have to engage in any combat.
