Chorus would be a nice alternative to Star Wars Squadrons if you enjoyed it. Chorus offers players the chance to drift, fight, and boost in a living spaceship across large levels with beautiful backdrops. In this story, we learn about the psychological effects of cults and how difficult it can be to break free from one's shackles. This is a great pick for sci-fi fans.

You will be able to play as Nara on a quest to destroy the dark cult that created her. This "evolution" of the space-combat shooter will allow players to unlock devastating weapons and mind-bending abilities. You'll explore ancient temples, engage in zero-g combat, and venture beyond waking reality with Forsaken, her sentient starfighter.

That's what the game claims, and you can see it from the announcement, so it may be enough to gain a cult following.
