New servers pop up every other day in the Counter-Strike community, and the servers with the best script and the biggest player base are usually the ones to stick around for longer than others. Due to this, the list of servers is quite dynamic, with newer servers sometimes outranking the pre-existing ones.

The best way to find the top Surf servers is to check lists of servers ranked by their popularity. For example, GFL Clan has been hosting CS2 servers for quite a while. You can additionally check out SurfHeaven or DIXRIX for the surf servers with the most players and the best script.

Choosing a server will mostly depend on where the servers are based, since most of them are either in Europe or North America. On top of this, you'll also want to see if the difficulty level is good for you—whether you're just starting off with Surf or if you're a seasoned pro at it.
