How to set CS2 buy binds

No time to waste.

Conserving time in CS2 matters quite a bit, so you might want to buy weapons as quick as possible to get into position. With that, I'll tell you how to set buy binds for Counter-Strike 2 below.

How to make buy binds in Counter Strike 2

I'm no pro CS2 player, but I've seen plenty of esports where professional players waste no time browsing through weapons before getting into their positions, and they all use key binds to do this.

You don't need a third-party application to do this; you just need to add them to your autoexec.cfg file, and you're set:

  • Visit CS2 Binds Generator
  • Click By Weapon
  • Click on any key you'd like to bind
  • Click the weapon below (AK-47, for example)

After you're done, you can simply copy the text generated on the lower right side and paste it into your autoexec.cfg file located here:

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\csgo\cfg

In case you don't have the autoexec.cfg file, you can just download one with your buy binds by pressing the download button on the generator. You can repeat this process as many times as you want for as many weapons or pieces of equipment as you want (even the Kevlar and Defusing Kit).
