When is a new Operation coming to CS2?

Let's all be optimistic.

Counter-Strike 2 takes CS:GO's place as it replaces a whole era of gameplay, updates, and history of Counter-Strike with a fresh new package. With all this being said, is there a new operation coming to CS2, and if so, when? I'll break it down for you below.

Is a new Operation coming to CS2 (Counter-Strike 2)?

It seems like yesterday when we were running around the Library or the Motel map with Counter-Strike Global Offensive's Operation Payback, but this was April 2013, eight months after CS:GO was released.

Valve has most likely been hard at work with the rollout of Counter-Strike 2, and quite honestly, in an era when game launches are all rocky and filled with crashes, server downtimes, and community upsets, the CS2 premier has been a lot smoother than others.

Will a new operation come out? Yes, the developers seem to be wanting to keep the game as reminiscent of the Counter-Strike model as possible, and operations are one way of keeping the game interesting. When does an operation come? No one knows, and, in my opinion, not for a long time.

However, there's no reason to worry about it because, at least until then, we've got plenty of time to admire the all-new aesthetics and features of CS2.
