Crisis Core allows Final Fantasy VII fans to experience the lives of some of their favorite characters before the original game's events. Fans finally get to play as Cloud's predecessor, the full-fledged protagonist of his game, Zack Fair. Zack can join fan clubs for his SOLDIER colleagues, but the Sephiroth fandom has a slightly higher barrier for entry.
