Everything we know about FFVII Crisis Core Reunion
Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core was a prequel to Final Fantasy VII that followed the story of new Shinra SOLDIER, Zack Fair. For those familiar with the lore, Zack is who Cloud based much of his false memories on. He is mentored by Angeal, who is close with the infamous Sephiroth and other SOLDIER Genesis. Crisis Core used a similar combat style to Kingdom Hearts but also implemented a slot machine mechanic. Depending on the spin that would appear, Zack would be healed, deal damage to enemies, level up, unleash a limit break, and more.

The trailer shows off pre-rendered cutscenes, as well as gameplay. The combat appears to be largely unchanged. Pulse-pounding, heavy guitar riffs accentuate the action as intermittent bursts of the story set the stage. But, for those who have played Final Fantasy VII Remake, we must wonder if its revised story lines up with this remake. Time will tell.
