How to beat Experiment No. 88 early in Crisis Core

In Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core, you play as Zack Fair, a member of Shinra's SOLDIER. While there is the main story to follow, you can complete several side quests and missions. These provide bonus activities and many rewards. One of which is performing experiments for Hojo, many of which are combat, including battling the difficult Experiment No. 88. This may leave you wondering how to beat Experiment No. 88.

Experiment No. 88 can be extremely difficult when you first encounter it. This is due to its fast attacks, many of which can almost kill you in one hit. While you can successfully beat this boss with skill, we have discovered a way to cheese Experiment No. 88 early in Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core.

How to cheese Experiment No. 88 in FF7 Crisis Core

Experiment No. 88 is one of the monsters Hojo will have you face in Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core. Completing the previous missions in Hojo's Laboratory are required and will build you up to this challenge. When you can first face Experiment No. 88, this fight is incredibly difficult if you take it on like normal. However, you can easily cheese this boss in Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core.

To cheese Experiment No. 88 in Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core, you simply need to get behind it. Once you are behind it, start attacking its tail with your sword. Each attack will be a critical hit if you have properly lined up. You can then repeatedly attack, landing critical hits and basically stun-locking it. Keep attacking to keep it in this position so it cannot attack. If it escapes, dodge and get behind it to repeat this process until you have defeated Experiment No. 88 in Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core.
