All Upcoming Characters in Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty

All new characters!

The Phantom Liberty expansion introduces many new features for Cyberpunk 2077, breathing new life into the game. Players will be treated with a new story, an explorable region, and several new characters added to the game. While I can't wait to see what new interactions and dialogues we will get with Keanu Reeves' Johnny Silverhand, there will also be some fresh faces in Dogtown.

Solomon Reed

Played by none other than Idris Elba, Solomon Reed plays one of the lead roles in the Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty storyline. Reed is a seasoned FIA (Federal Intelligence Agency) operative living in the Dogtown district of Night City. Although he once was betrayed by his team and country, he remained loyal to the cause. He'll accompany you on your journey in the Phantom Liberty quests.

So Mi Song, aka Songbird

Songbird is the second lead in Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty. She is the first person to contact and lead you into Dogtown, asking for help. Her incredible netrunning talent has earned her the status of the right hand of the president of the NUSA (New United States of America). Songbird and Solomon Reed have a complicated relationship, which you'll get to know more about when you play Phantom Liberty. Also, check out the trailer below to know more about their shared history.

President Rosalind Myers

The current president of the NUSA, Rosalind Myers, was also the ex-CEO of Militech, one of the largest military corporations in the Cyberpunk world. Her flight, Space Force One, crash-lands in the hostile district of Dogtown, after which you're contracted to rescue her.

Alena Xenakis, aka Alex

A colleague of Songbird and Reed, Alex works as an undercover agent in Dogtown. Once an aspiring braindance actor, she currently runs a bar in the restricted zone. Alex also has a shapeshifting ability, which allows her to change appearances and hide her true identity from the world.

Colonel Kurt Hansen

During the Unification War, Kurt Hansen was the only person who dared to stand against the big corporations and the NUSA. With the help of some Militech soldiers, he captured the area that is Dogtown and now rules it without any interference from the outside world.

Besides these main characters, you'll also get to see some other NPCs in Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty. While Wade Bleecker, aka Mr. Hands, will provide you with fresh gigs in Dogtown, you'll also meet twin netrunners Aurora and Aymeric Cassel. Furthermore, be prepared to take out new foes, the Barghest Soldiers, who control the combat zone and can only be found within.
