It is a new punks era!

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty offers us a next-level experience of the Night City with the latest 2.0 Update. Yulia Pryimak, the gameplay designer from CD Projekt RED, has revealed significant game experience changes during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023. I was thrilled to see my favorite cyberpunk game getting an overhaul, and if you liked the original title, you would be delighted to see what the game designers have in store for us.

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty 2.0 Update redesign and upcoming changes

The main redesign and upcoming changes in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty 2.0 Update will introduce major changes around nearly every aspect of the game, including a new Perk system, new abilities, a brand new Relic Skill Tree, and, of course, new weapons and vehicles that the Mercenaries can use while doing missions across the Night City.

New Vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty

As a reward for successfully finishing missions in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, the players will be given a variety of all-new vehicles. They will also be able to fire their weapons while driving cars, with the ability to take combat into lengthy car chases. I can't wait to get one of the new off-roaders and fight with others out in the desert, recreating some Mad Max action sequences. The police system will also be completely revamped, so your encounters with the representatives of law and order of the Night City are sure to be even more exciting.

New Weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty will feature many new weapons sold across the Night City's black markets, and they are suited to any dirty deed a Merc needs to take care of. You can look forward to the following additions to your arsenal:

  • Warden SMG
  • Rasetsu sniper rifle
  • Osprey sniper rifle V
  • Hercules special weapon
  • Grit handgun
  • Order shotgun

Relic Skill Tree in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty

Adding the brand new Relic Skill Tree in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty allows the players to become even more effective combat machines, bringing death and destruction to a whole new level. These include:

  • Limiter Removal
  • Spatial Mapping
  • Lauch Capacity Override

They are somehow related to the Relic chip obtained during the original storyline. They work by temporarily working V's capabilities into overdrive, making him more efficient and granting him special new abilities.

Redesigned Perks in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty will provide us with the redesigned Perk system, allowing you to tailor your playstyle to your needs. Aside from the UI overwork, the designers have included several new perks to help you in combat and two Finishers:

  • Bullet Deflect
  • Opportunist
  • Pull!
  • Air Dash
  • Deadeye
  • Finisher: Savage Sling
  • Finisher: Bladerunner
