Dave the Diver Mjolnir location

Become an underwater Thor!

Mjolnir is one of the most iconic items of the God of Thunder, Thor, and it's a surprise it made its way in Dave the Diver. I've found it after a while, so here's the exact Mjolnir location in Dave the Diver.

Where to find Mjolnir in Dave the Diver

While Mjolnir spawns randomly, several locations have a greater chance of finding Thor's hammer. Before you get into your diving gear, make sure you have enough money to upgrade your diving suit until it's suitable for a depth of around 500m.

Also, you will need access to the Glacial area of the game. To unlock the Glacial area, you need to be at least in Chapter 5, where you'll have a quest given by the Sea People to unlock a portal leading you to the Glacial Passage.

Once ready to hunt for your first Mjolnir, head into the Glacial Area and swim around 500-525m depth. Start by exploring the caves within that depth. Mjolnir is encased in a massive ice block, and you should be constantly looking out for it, as it can sometimes elude players.

If Mjolnir is nowhere to be found in those caves, try exploring the left side of the map until you find a series of ice tunnels. Enter the maze-like structure from the bottom until you find the missing Beluga Whale (i.e., if you haven't found the Whale yet).

In my experience, the caves always yield the highest chance of Mjolnir spawning compared to the missing Beluga Whale's location. If you don't find Mjolnir within these three major locations, I recommend returning to your boat and trying again.

How to unlock God Of Lightning Achievement in Dave the Diver

You should invest your time in finding Mjolnir to unlock the hidden achievement "God of Thunder" in Dave the Diver. If you're a completionist like myself, you better lace up your diving gear and hunt for the legendary hammer when you access the Glacial Area.

Is Mjolnir good in Dave the Diver?

Mjolnir is one of the most overpowered weapons in Dave the Diver. It deals 20 damage upon hit and 30 on a charged attack. It also provides a chain-lightning effect, damaging nearby fish, which is awesome if you want to farm an entire shoal of fish.

Like Marvel's Thor, Dave can attack by throwing Mjolnir. Do note that if you decide to surface after acquiring Mjolnir, it will disappear from your inventory, and you will have to find it again.
