Dead by Daylight Year 11 is now half way done, so let's check out exactly what they have planned for the rest of the year, including a full September DBD Roadmap. There's lots of changes, skins, and spooktastic events coming our way.

Dead by Daylight Full September 2026 Roadmap

School is back in session, but that doesn't mean DBD is on a break. There's lots to expect from September, so let's check out the full roadmap so you know exactly what's coming!

Week 2

From September 8 to 29, you can expect the newest iteration of the infamous 2v8 DbD mode. This time, you can expect queen Xenomorph to roam the maps alongside other Killers. We're definitely excited to see how her powers will influence her duo Killer. Perhaps they will also be able to enter the tunnels, or maybe while the Alien is in the tunnels, the other Killer can also see Survivor movements.

There is also rumors to expect a new "Ritual Item", but there's no official statement on what this does exactly. Perhaps it will be something to do with Totems, or a boon to place in the basement. We'll find out soon.

Week 2 also seems to be a celebration of the Alien, since we're also getting an Alien Collection in the store with a Xenomorph King skin.

Week 4

Now, Week 4 of the September DbD Roadmap seems to have some more content in store, so let's get down to it.

PTB

The most important September update is the mid-chapter PTB. This time, it's not here to test out any new killer, but instead testing out some major changes. More than 45 perks in DbD are getting changed, which means a possible shake up of the current meta. As we all know, there are a bunch of Perks that are just useless, so hopefully this will bring them back to life. Man, how I miss the days when Borrowed Time was actually OP and useful.

On top of the perk changes, Dead by Daylight will also be testing the Player Intent System. This is a new form of communication that will be available for Survivors. While most of us often play in teams on Discord, this will definitely save some people from getting second hook in solo queue since no one ran to save them. You can ping others by saying you are going to a gen and much more.

Charitable Partnership

September will also see the addition of the Charitable Partnership Initiative as well as quests. There are no details on what either will entail, but Behaviour has been known to donate to foundations through skin sales. We'll update this DbD Roadmap as soon as we know what they have in store.

Gameplay Expo and Autumn Fashion Collection

We are getting two different skin collections during September on Dead by Daylight. First, you can finally expect the Gameplay Expo Collection, and yes, that is a Magical Girl Unknown. Two Survivors will also be stepping into this magical world, Sable and Mikaela, which isn't really a surprise.

The Campfire Tour Dead Northern

This isn't an in-game update but rather a real-life update! To celebrate ten years of Dead by Daylight, the team is going on a Campfire Tour, with the first stop already at Gamescom. We don't know exact locations yet, but hopefully it will be somewhere near where we can visit!

October 2026

Now, in October we are unlocking a new Rift, but more importantly, we are getting the official Dead by Daylight Halloween Event Haunted by Daylight. This event will go from mid October until early November, but we don't have exact dates yet.

November 2026

As confirmed at the 10th anniversary livestream, the newest licensed chapter coming to DbD will be the Terrifier. For now, we only know the Killer, but no information on if this November chapter will also add a Survivor and a Map.

December 2026

In December of 2026, we are getting an entirely new original map, which I especially love. It will most likely be a mall map, with rumors of additional liminal spaces. It will be very interesting to see how future maps will also be included into this realm. You can catch me at Scoops Ahoy slinging ice cream in December.

Other than the new map, we are getting another beloved event, and that is Bone Chill. The 2026 DbD Bone Chill event will start around mid December and end in Early January.

March 2027

The Casting of Frank Stone Original Chapter will finally be joining the DbD roster in March. I have loved the game's expansion on DbD lore and am very excited to see exactly how they will work Frank Stone into the original game. We also don't know if we are getting any Survivors or the special manor map during this chapter, but I certainly hope we are.

April 2027

We will be getting a new survivor in April of 2027, but there is no information on who it will be. It might be a Survivor that will join a solo Killer, or we can expect an entirely new Survivor on its own.
