The four journals are #1 Missing: Pablo, #2 Need for Needles, #3 Protein Please, and #4 High Stakes. The first one starts the Lost & Found quest in Dead Island 2, the next two are what you need to find, and the last one ends the quest.
Which Venice store did Pablo go to for Protein Powder?
- Go to Venice Beach and head to Muscle Beach Nutrition near the gym.
- From the Blue Crab exit, go right over the fence, then right again until you come to a bus. From the bus, go right until you find the outside gym called Muscle Beach Nutrition.
- Your quest will be updated.
How to search inside Muscle Beach Nutrition for any sign of Pablo in Dead Island 2
- Go around the back of Muscle Food Nutrition. Facing the store, go left, and take note of the alley with the gate; this is important.
- Carry on left until you go right with a street containing a Star Haul van.
- Skirt the fence and climb the pallets onto the roof, and open the gate near the breaker switch; this is important. You'll also find a circuit breaker to open a garage door.
- Find Venice Autos, which is in front of the pallets you climbed over, and enter through the left side door; explore inside to find the breaker.
- Go around the front of Muscle Beach, through the gate you opened, and put in the breaker. Climb the truck and pallets to get back over the fence, then go right and hit the power switch to open the garage. You'll find the journal near the store shutter.

- Go back to the front of Muscle Beach and turn right like you're heading towards the Blue Crab, but don't turn right.
- Keep going past the bus to find the Tattoo Parlor, it's the first shop.

- Hold down the switch outside to lift the shutters, then when it's high enough, let go and go inside.
- You'll find the journal beside a pink chair and the Roses storage box to the right.

- Exit Roses tattoo store from the front, then turn right and keep running past the Public Parking and past Brain Freeze.
- The next shop after Brain Freeze is the shop you want, Gang Green, the weed store.
How to find a way inside Gang Green to look for Pablo
- Kill Doc Martin outside Gang Green, grab the key for the safe inside, then go around the back to the right of Gang Green in the alley.
- Turn left, and follow the fence until you see an opened gate, then crouch down and enter Gang Green.
- Watch out for all of the rigged shotguns inside, and head towards the counter to find Pablo.
- Interact with the journal next to him to get a Fire Axe.
