There are four weeks in Destiny 2's Season of the Seraph that require Guardians to run Operation: Seraph's Shield on Legendary to complete specific quests. Because of how this mission scales, it's actually far easier to complete by yourself than with a fireteam. So, for the Titan mains out there, here is the build that got us through this drawn-out mission.
What to run as Titan to solo Legendary Operation: Seraph's Shield
Weapons
When it comes to weapons, two loadouts worked well for us. The first utilizes Le Monarque as the primary weapon with a crafted Ragnhild-D doing the close and dirty work. Falling Guillotine will get you through everything except the final boss on this loadout.
The second loadout uses a pulse rifle like Smite of Merain, The Enigma, and Xenophage in the heavy slot. Smite of Merain is only used for the Suppressor buff and popping off the quick shots to use that mechanic. The Enigma will be your bread and butter here as it can quickly dispatch swathes of enemies close-up and at a distance. Xenophage hits like a freight train and will make short work of bosses.
- Primary Slot: Ragnhild-D, Smite of Merain
- Secondary Slot: Le Monarque, The Enigma
- Power Slot: Falling Guillotine, Xenophage

Armor and Mods
Max usable power level is capped at 1580, so ensure your gear is at that point at a minimum. You'll want to prioritize Resilience above all other stats and should have that at 100. Otherwise, we're a fan of Stacks of Light for mods, specifically High-Energy Fire as it pairs extremely well with Solo Operative for high-damage output.
- Mods: Taking Charge, Stacks on Stacks, High-Energy Fire, Solo Operative, Elemental Charge
Subclass, Aspects, and Fragments
This build is all about explosions and staying alive. Combined with The Enigma, Echo of Leeching will help keep you alive thanks to its health regen. Should things get hairy, pop your Barrier to apply an overshield. Otherwise, Controlled Demolition pairs excellently with both grenade and melee abilities for clearing out groups.
- Subclass: Void (Sentinel)
- Aspects: Controlled Demolition, Bastion
- Fragments: Echo of Expulsion, Echo of Remnants, Echo of Leeching
This build won't allow you to face tank encounters, but it comes close. The biggest thing about running Operation: Seraph's Shield on Legendary by yourself is managing the adds. In both the first and final boss fights, adds can quickly overwhelm Guardians and bring a run to a screeching halt. As such, prioritize clearing these enemies out before focusing on the boss again. Play smart, play safe, and you'll have this knocked out in no time.
