Dead Man’s Tale God Roll, Best Perks in Destiny 2

While the right gun for a specific situation may be important in Destiny 2, if you don't have good weapon perks to go along with it, the weapon could be just useless. So one of the most important elements of the game, and one of the biggest reasons to play it, is the repetitive grind to obtain the best version of any weapon: to find a God Roll.

And when it comes to weapons, there is no other one quite like the Exotic Scout Rifle, Dead Man's Tale. This weapon is deadly in any situation and typically comes with solid perks, but with the perfect perks, this weapon becomes one of the most dangerous guns in the whole game. Here are some possible God Rolls for Dead Man's Tale.

PvP God Roll

Dead Man's Tale sees most of its use in PvP situations, like Crucible and Gambit or even Trials of Osiris. Having the right perks will make you basically unstoppable.

  • Hammer-Forged Rifling, Accurized Rounds, Killing Wind, Fitted Stock

This roll is focused heavily on range which is incredibly important in PvP. Being able to dispatch enemies from a distance will make each fight easier and less dangerous for you.

Other great perks that could easily be considered for a god roll would be Smallbore, Corkscrew Barreling, Snapshot Sights, Moving Target, Outlaw, and Hand-Laid Stock. If you get any of these on a roll, it might be worthwhile to hold on to it.

PvE God Roll

While Dead Man's Tale is typically most useful in PvP, a gun is a gun and it will still do some solid damage against enemies in PvE activities. With the right perks, this weapon can do it all.

• God Roll
  • Fluted Barrel, Armor-Piercing Rounds, Fourth Time's the Charm, Fitted Stock

This weapon can also come with a few more equally useful perks for PvE like Subsistence or Vorpal Weapon. Perks like Subsistence and Fourth Time's The Charm allow you to practically never have to reload while Vorpal Weapon is obviously your boss-killing friend.

Easy To Obtain

Fortunately, getting a God Roll on this weapon is not difficult and can be done quickly with a 100% guarantee. You can obtain the gun by just completing the Exotic mission, Presage, and picking it up at the end.

But remember that you must have purchased the Season 13 pass to access the mission. Also, the Presage mission will be vaulted by Bungie when the witch Queen DLC begins, so the time to get a God Roll, or just the weapon at all, is running out.
