Destiny 1’s Trespasser exotic sidearm could return in Destiny 2

Is it returning?

Recently it was revealed that the Trespasser Exotic sidearm from Destiny One would potentially make a reappearance in Destiny 2. The Trespasser Side Arm was accidentally revealed via the Japanese version of This Week at Bungie August 21, 2022.

In the Japanese version of This Week at Bungie August 21, 2022, where there was supposed to be a redacted text line, the name Trespasser was instead. Because of this, speculation surrounding the Trespasser Sidearm soon spread, leading many to believe that Trespasser soon return.

While nothing at the moment nothing was confirmed regarding Trespasser returning by Bungie, there's a huge possibility that the gun will return. In short, the source is from Bungie directly, and it remains unlikely it was a simple coincidence that Trespasser was the name in place of redacted. But with all things unconfirmed, take with a grain of salt.

What is the Trespasser Sidearm in Destiny?

The Trespasser Sidearm is a gun that appeared in the Rize of Iron expansion for Destiny one. The Sidearm fires in three bursts and has Arc damage attacks. Trespasser also includes the Unrepentant exotic and Relentless Tracker primary perks. The Unrepentant perks grant the bonus that when players reload the gun, the next burst from the gun will be stronger. The Relentless Tracker primary perk grants enhanced motion tracking for a time.
