The first of many.

Revision Zero in Destiny 2 is a curious weapon. It is the second craftable exotic, with its upgrades locked behind weekly progression in Season of the Seraph's questline. The first catalyst that you can unlock is the Frenzy Refit. Here's what it is and why you want it.

What does Frenzy Refit do in Destiny 2?

Once shaped with the catalyst, Revision Zero will gain the Frenzy Refit perk. With it, each rapid kill with Revision Zero will progressively increase reload speed for a short time. This plays well with fast, aggressive play and is great when clearing out large swathes of enemies.

Revision Zero sits on the fence between being a pulse rifle and wanting to be a scout rifle. Throw in the Exotic perk of essentially turning into a sniper rifle, and Revision Zero truly embodies what it means to be a hybrid weapon. Unfortunately, as a primary weapon, it doesn't perform so well against anything that isn't a red bar, so it's not great for harder content. But, for clearing strikes and content like Dares of Eternity, it's a beast. Plus, it looks and feels utterly fantastic. So go forth. Acquire another exotic and start locking down catalysts like Frenzy Refit to make it shine.
