The launch of The Final Shape has been plagued with errors and server issues, having people wait for hours to get into the game finally. But one thing peeving off players are errors that have caused them to miss important cutscenes.
Currant errors have been plaguing a ton of Guardians, booting them out of activities and preventing them from seeing cutscenes. As Reddit user JustSomeDude477 has said, this is one of the biggest narrative moments in Destiny, and people can't even experience it properly.
In an update, Bungie has stated that fixing this issue is one of their major priorities. Until then, the temporary solution for you (if you have missed a cutscene) is to go to the Replayable Missions node in the middle of the Pale Heart map. Missions 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7 have cutscenes at the end. If you didn't get to see some of them, you will have to replay the mission and hope that you don't get another Currant error.
However, it's pretty annoying to replay a mission due to no fault of your own just to see a quick cutscene (even if it's important to the story). And this isn't even the first time this issue has popped up. When the Witch Queen expansion was released back in 2022, people had to replay missions due to the same cutscene-skipping issue.
A better solution that many fans are echoing would be to implement a cutscene gallery. Considering that the game already has a Timeline screen, a gallery could be implemented and combined with that feature. While this might sound like quite an undertaking for the development team, given this is supposed to be the conclusion of the Destiny 2 story arc, granting players the option to recap on major story beats would surely go down a treat and would help improve the Quality of Life of the campaigns.
