How long until Destiny 2: The Final Shape releases?

Destiny 2: The Final Shape will be released on June 4, 2024, on all platforms. There is no confirmed release time from Bungie, but be prepared to check the game once that clock hits midnight. I know I will be sitting in my chair, ready to play it as soon as it's out.

What is Destiny 2: The Final Shape?

Destiny 2: The Final Shape is the Year 7 expansion and the culmination of the Destiny 2 story. This newest addition to the Destiny 2 world promises to end the war between Light and Dark before the Witness Wins. It will include a new destination, The Pale Heart, three new companions, a new raid and a lot more.

The Final Shape also comes with a rework to the content update system. Instead of seasons, starting in June of 2024, you will be playing Episodes with new stories, missions, and exotic weapons.

So far, we know that Destiny 2: Final Shape will include three episodes: Echoes, Revenant, and Heresy. Each episode will be separated into three Acts, which will come out every six weeks. This is great to hear, as it means more content throughout the year.
