Specifically, a breech-loaded grenade launcher is required in order to complete the 'Climbing the Mountaintop' weekly quest.

Easiest way to get a breech-loaded grenade launcher in Destiny 2

If you're a new player and don't have a breach-loaded grenade launcher but want to get your hands on one quickly, you're in luck because it's neither too difficult nor complicated. You can obtain the Empty Vessel, a solar-powered exotic grenade launcher, simply by focusing Vanguard.

To begin, you need to collect 3 Vanguard engrams and 5,000 glimmer. You can easily obtain these by completing Vanguard activities from your Destinations tab. You will then see a Vanguard icon, which contains various Vanguard missions such as Nightfall or Strikes, all of which are PvE activities that allow you to earn Vanguard engrams.

Once you have enough, you can head to the tower and speak with Commander Zavala to acquire the Empty Vessel breech-loaded grenade launcher through focused decoding.
