Launch day for any game, especially one as large as Destiny 2, is going to be a hectic experience. It's like Black Friday where hordes of players are trying to cram themselves into the same place. Only, the servers are fighting to determine who goes where all while not crashing. It's a fun, chaotic way to kick off the launch of any new game or expansion. That being said, many are wondering what the queue times are for Lightfall.
How long is the wait for Destiny 2 Lightfall login?
At the time of this writing, players can expect a login queue of roughly 10-15 minutes. Players that tried to log in before the servers were available might be stuck in the queue and are advised to close Destiny 2 and relaunch it to correctly secure their position. Failure to do so can result in a much longer queue time.
Of course, this estimate is likely to change throughout the day as players get home from school and/or work and begin to log in themselves. There is also the somewhat likely chance that Bungie has issues with the launch and something Telesto-related rears its ugly head. It would be unfortunate, but not unexpected. As always, patience is the name of the game when it comes to any expansion's launch.
