King's Fall is a reprised Destiny raid brought into Destiny 2 with Season 18. Developer Bungie added a jumping puzzle as it is wont to do with new dungeons and raids. Guardians that have run the raid in Destiny or remember delving into the Hellmouth should know how this works. Guardians must ride these Hive dropships to clear spaces otherwise impassable.
How to clear the Destiny 2 Tombship Jumping Puzzle
The Tombship Jumping Puzzle comes shortly after the first encounter in the King's Fall raid. It consists of 10 increasingly difficult jumps between the flying ships. The trick with riding these ships is that they will disappear at set points. So, if a Guardian misses their jump, there's no cycling back around. There is a checkpoint after reaching the platform that Ship 4 will drop players at. Of course, those more daring can jump from Ship 4 to Ship 5.
It can be a little confusing at first, but after a couple of runs through the gauntlet, the jumping isn't too bad. There are a couple of tricky spots. On Ship 6, Guardians will want to stand toward the rear as they need another ship to pass before jumping to Ship 7. The following jump from Ship 7 to Ship 8 requires some vertical oomph. Finally, Ship 9 will begin to dissolve right as Ship 10 appears.
