If one of your vendors is at the required rank, speak to them, and you should see the Ecliptic Distaff listed as a reward. After this point, you can get the Ecliptic Distaff from the Exotic Kiosk vendor for one Ascendant Shards. If you do not have an Ascendant Shard, you can purchase one from either Rahool or Ada-1b who also sells Upgrade Models. Either vendor will require the following materials for Ascendant Shards in Desntiny 2:

• 100 planetary materials
• 50k Glimmer
• 10 Enhancement Prisms
